Judy, the Optometrist, is dedicated to providing the highest level of clinical care to her patients by staying up-to-date with the latest information on eyes and general health. She has a passion for managing all eye conditions and specializes in fitting contact lenses, particularly orthokeratology and myopia management. In addition to working at Eyekonic Optometry, Judy is also part of the team at Myopia Profile (a global team dedicated to bringing awareness to Myopia).
When Judy is not seeing patients, she is often attending conferences, writing articles, or presenting at meetings. She has presented at international contact lens events and worked with leading companies such as Johnson & Johnson ACUVUE®, Bausch & Lomb, Alcon, and GOV Orthokeratology contact lenses. Judy has also conducted research with the Brien Holden Holden Vision Institute.
Judy is committed to giving back to her community by supervising optometry students at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) for the past 10 years and volunteering with the EssilorLuxottica OneSight Foundation to conduct eye testing clinics for those who struggle to access eyecare needs.
As a member of the Cornea Contact Lens Society Australia (CCLSA) and the Orthokeratology Society of Oceania (OSO) for over 10 years, Judy's special interests include myopia control, orthokeratology, contact lenses, and therapeutic treatment of eye conditions.
Judy is a local in the Hills District, where she resides with her two children. In her free time, she enjoys reading various novels and exploring her appreciation for arts and crafts. She also loves being outdoors and taking walks to explore the Hills district. Judy is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin.
